Topi's hat fashion show for gerbils

PLEASE READ: This video was made just for fun, and the gerbil wasn't hurt or harmed in any other way. Do remember gerbils (or any other animals) are not toys; they are living, feeling creatures just like human beings. Don't force them to wear anything, they don't understand what you're doing and get very scared. If you want to dress something up, get a barbie doll. When I made this video, I never thought it could become this popular, and that children could get it wrong. I did not mean to say you should make your pet wear things - no way! The model himself wore hats just for taking the photos - a couple of seconds each. Topi was an extremely lazy and tame little creature that sat still in people's hands, and he didn't mind having something on the top of his head for a moment while doing that. I didn't put things on his head apart from these two sessions. He and his brother lived long and happy gerbil lives with lots of fresh berries, exciting adventures on the floor and grooming sessions in the corner of their terrarium - the kind of lives a pet gerbil should have.
